Author Speak:
Teens are some of the greatest people on earth. This is why I wrote this book. Teens might not have ideal situations in their lives but at least people should not annoy either. The book applies to future roommates, co-workers, neighbors, and in-laws too. Nobody out grows being a teen, really. The best we can do is evolve. Learn practical methods for how to maneuver. Ms. Laziza lovingly mentored NYC teens for over twenty years at Micro Museum® and was a mother of two children in Downtown Brooklyn.
Strangely, I started off as a reading disabled person but I loved to write. So, while I struggled to read in school, I wrote as much as possible. Eventually, I began getting a by-line in art and dance magazines. Never let anyone tell you that you cannot be one thing without the other. There are thousands of ways to accomplish goals. If you have something to say — say it!
Finding Inspiration
We all find our own way through the trials and tribulations of living in the 21st century. It is important to recognize how empathetic skills are the secret to feeling inspired. We know and love real people but reading about conflicted characters can provide a valuable blueprint for inter-personal relationships. Making time to read is a rewarding experience for the body, mind, soul connection. Highly recommend it.
